My Selfmade 8051 Development Kit

My selfmade 8051 development kit makes the development of MCU circuits quicker. I just plug all the components for the circuit together and can start immediately to program. Learn more about it in the virtual walk through my 8051 development suite.

Some of My Measurement Devices

Gives me an idea, why things don't work. See the next four pictures for details.

A Simple Frequency and Event Counter

Nothing exciting about this circuit, except those TL311 displays, which are quiet nice, but heat it really up.

Datalogger

This box can count pulses on two channels and monitor up to eight voltages. The actual task is programmed into it via RS232 from a PC program. When the measurement is made in standalone operation, 64K memory store the collected data. It is also possible to use it as a eight channel ADC with RS232. Sorry, that there are some wires in the way, but this device has many connections inside.

MiniDS

This is a miniature digital oscilloscope with 25M samples per second. Very useful if you do not have a oscilloscope, and sometimes even then.

A Precise AC Meter

For a precise voltage measurement also above 50Hz, this device employs a RMS AC-DC converter (AD636). To avoid EMC problems, the plastic case has been coated with a copper layer.

PICProg

Keep it simple. (here is circuit V1.04 seen)
